When i come to a red light, the steering wheel and shifter vibrate. When i pop it into neutral, or drive, the vibration stops. Problem?

^^^how do you come to a light and be in anything but drive or neutral? sounds like an motor mount to me!

I think you could have a motor mount or a transmission mount that would need replacement.

If you are a i4 from 1999-2001, then the 5sfe (engine code) does have slight vibration issues esp in the a/t shifter and the slight vibration in the steering wheel. Love it/hate it...we have to live with it.
