To any trim geeks out there,

any req's on how to remove the center console trim surrounding the radio, temp which also goes up towards the clock? "without breaking it" 8)

I've got a rattle and when I tap on that little ledge in front of the clock their seems to be a gap which is where it's coming from (rattles when cold) and . . . would like to somehow put a piece of foam in their.

was thinking on popping out those two vents instead, but not sure how that would be done either.

any help would be appreciated, thanks
Wishin for warmer weather!!!

Just prey out from the bottom.

yeah, it's really easy. these guys taught me how :D

First thing is, take out your ashtray. then, grab ahold of the black plastic at the bottom. there are no screws or anything, just held in my pressure clips. so just pry it all off.

you'll think you're breaking it off the first few times. just pull slowly with gentle pressure.

there are several clips up the sides. keep pulling from the bottom until you can access the wires of the cig. lighter and the ashtray light. there are little locks on the wires to keep them connected. just remove those. then work your way up. at the top, you'll have to disconnect the hazard light and the clock.

don't think you can remove the vents without opening up the whole thing.

Yeah. I was talking about the first time you pull it off.

After that, I think the snaps loosen, because I've opened it up a dozen times, at least. Actually, I keep opening up every part of my car and everything gets easier to open.
