A/C Compressor Rebuild

A/C Compressor Rebuild

Postby anttarz » Fri May 04, 2007 8:15 am

over the winter i purchased a brand new a/c compressor and dryer. However, the new compressor does not have a speed sensor/switch. My orginal unit looks like the sensor is stamped on and the new one looks like it has two bolt? Does anyone know where to find a rebuild manual or instructions or what to do? I also to rebuild my old one.

i went down to the toyota parts department today about this. I found out the speed sensor/switch is often stamped on instead of bolted. In this case i have to order a new sensor and cant use the old one.

YEA! when I use my A/C I get a weird smell, like a dirty bath towel type deal. I think I need to replace my cabin air filter right?
