alright well, its been a while since ive made any serious posts requiring help, but now is the time. .

so i just spent close to 6 hours over the last two days changing out my stock struts to tokico blues in the parking lot of my college apartment complex with hand tools and a barrowed jack, no impact wrench hah, would have been done yesterday but when i took apart the driver side front strut, the strut bearing just fell apart. it seems its been broken for some time now, just held together by the the pressure of the spring itself, so i had to order one of those - over priced, 50 bucks to a dealership down here in harrisonburg (JMU area) picked it up this morning, managed to get the car back up and running perfectly for my 125 class after starting at noon haha, put the interior back in when i got back, everything ran fine until i ran up to the gas station to use the ATM, then it decides not to start, my roomate came to jump it, we got it running, took it for a drive to let the alternator do its thing, parked it, tried to start it, dead again... im thinkin a short, so i unhooked my subs - the only electrical thing that i touched in the past 48 hours.... still nothin.. any ideas? were testing the battery/alternator in the morning, but they're both newish..

sorry for the long winded post.. im exhausted and at the end of my wits.

keep checking your electrical stuff, as well as load testing your alternator and battery (just in case)

if you damaged your abs lines, your abs light would be on and abs would be off, but it won't affect you electrical system

ok... jacked up now.. looks definately like oil, and like it was leaking from where joint where the drive shaft goes into the back of the brake assembly... but even it that WERE the case.. god i hope not, how could that cause a short that would keep my car from starting? or furthmore, not trigger any lights?, i mean if it were leaking that bad, my wheel bearing woulda been housed right?

Shouldn't you have warranty on it still? Half shafts should be covered.

If not then take a day off of work lol. Sounds like you have two seperate problems as opposed to just one...also I suggest finding yourself a nice breaker bar and some hefty tools.

Man I feel your pain right now, my car is the opposite of yours though. Mine starts up fine but nothing else works, radio   AC or heat, no gauges at all, no blinkers or wipers.

We shouldnt be worried though, we'll get our problems solved.
