Keyless entry beeps not as loud?

Well, it rained for the first time in months it seems like, actually it poured. I noticed that, maybe coincidentally, after the rain the beep when I unlock and lock my car kept getting softer throughout the day until it was barely audible. Any ideas?

does your system beep the horn, or a piezo siren?
