indiglo problem...

has anyone got after-market gauges, and then had problems with them?.. i recently got some reverse-idiglo gauges and tha prob is that tha needle is reading 5mph more than what it is supposed to say
(ex. reads 45 when im really goin 40) -..could anyone tell me what they think is tha prob, thanks guys

hey i also have aftermarket gauges, except i have whiteface. Did you install the gauges yourself? Either way if you hit the needle you might need to get your Speedometer re-calibrated. Also the reverse's numbers might be off, compare thier positiion to the stock ones and make sure the numbers are in the SAME PLACE!

Hey, I also got the regular White-faced indiglo TRD gauges. I was gonna get the Reverse ones, but I didn' t really like the color of the numbers. Anyways, my gauges were just the face, so all I had to do was slip them over my stock gauges. I didn't even have to take the needle out or anything. Was yours like that too or did you have to take the needle out? If so, maybe you put it on wrong or...it could be that it's getting stuck on something. My friend's Civic..when he changed his gauges, the needle was getting slighly stuck on the plastic that covers it so it was reading about 7 MPH off. Well I hope you solve your problem

I purchased regular Indiglos from Procarparts.com and installed them according to tweazy.net instructions. They were working fine for about 1 week and then all of a sudden they would only work at one color. I couldn't choose the different colors. I thought maybe a wire was loose, but it wasn't when I rechecked.

I'm returning this product back to Procarparts for an exchange. It's gotta be defective!

Anybody with the same trouble?
