it will turn off but after awhile it will come back on again.. it'll probably come on before you use up a full tank of gas to give u a time frame

Well lots of people here have intakes and I'm sure you aren't all driving around with your check engine lights on, anyone care to share how they turned it off?
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.

It's not a good thing to do if you don't know why the CEL lit up and you just reset it.

Actually, it isn't a terrible idea to reset it. If it is still a problem the CEL will come back on. Sometimes resetting it is all you need to do.

I dont think that u can turn it off... u dont want to turn it off.

But u can reset it using OBD II or
unhooked the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect it again.

It should reset the CEL, if it's still on, go to AutoZone and read the code.
It should be free.
