I have a gold solara and i got this idea today. has anyone blacked out their headlights and turn signals? ANy pictures? also if anyone knows where i can look to find nice black rims. or gold with a black lip?

I dunno if blacking out your headlights is the greatest of ideas. If you could like make the chrome inside that black tinted chrome, that would be cool. Blacking out your tail lights is ok b\c they need to be seen while looking directly at them and enough light comes through the black out to do the job. Head lights are different. They have to project light out infront of you and that would considerably cut down on the light output...but that's just my opinion.

y0 this is in the wrong section!!

but i dont see a point into blackin out your headlights... most of all want "brighter" headlights so we can be seen :o

Its all for looks during the day, but by nyte your gunna get screwed

I remeber seeing plastic covers for some cars to black them out since painting them wont help... the headlights take on everything that comes in way of your car when driving
