Problem with loose SEATS

Same with me. Defiantly a Toyota defect. That rocking of the driver seat even happens to my 02 Sienna. I am going to take that one in. Any warranty work won't hurt since I am not paying for it. I also get the rateling of the passanger seat on my 00 solara. I noticed that the ratteling happens at the track of the mount were the seat slides back and forth. Only way to fix would be to replace. :cry:

I too am having trouble with my '99 solara's manual passenger seat.
There is a persistant rattle when no one else is in the seat, while driving
at speeds above 30mph. There is no noise while idling. I think this
problem has something to do with the butt sensor inside the seat for
determining whether or not to flash the "put your seatbelt on" indicator.
I will be tearing that seat apart as soon as I get a chance, for that rattle
is completely unacceptable. It gets inside my brain and chews me up.
