I'm not sure exactly what the premiums are, but I know mine didn't go up much when I went from my 1992 Saab to my 2000 solara, and I just turned 20. If there is an increase, I'd expect to see a similar if not the same increase for an accord coupe as well. Then again, a lot depends on where you live, and I live in the sticks, so that might affect it.

I'm with 21st Century and in Los Angeles County of California. Big Company = slightly higher rate. Los Angeles = Extremely higher rate lol

For full coverage on a 2002 4 Cylinder Solara, it's running me about 2000 a year and I'm 20 and a 3 months old. I got my license at 16 and 4 months.

If the car is second hand (used), then the insurance rate is slightly cheaper... I think the full coverage is running my friend around 1400 or 1600 a year.

Liability only... I have no clue...

Just remember, I'm in Los ANgeles... you're in NY... so the rates may be give/take the same...

Good luck

I'm an 18 year old with Geico and I'm under my parents. We have a Hyundai SantaFe, a Honda Accord and when we added my solara, the insurance went up $2000 a year, but we have a very good insurance rating, no claims or anthing ever so I dunno....thats my $.02
