if the panel fuse is using # 7.5, but now I'm using #30 instead, will there be a problem or damage to the car?

I've been told that you're not supposed to just replace a fuse with a larger fuse if it blows... but I couldn't tell you why for sure. I believe it has something to do with the wiring, anyone care to clarify?

Despite that, I would guess that you'll be ok with that fuse, but maybe someone else can answer this better.

Basically.. your car was made with specific wiring ampage.. lets say.. you have a 7.5amp fuse it in.. that means that the unit that specific wiring system is hook up to can handle that much load.. if it exceeds it it can damage the unit so the fuse can blow first before getting to the unit itself.. now since you replaced it with a higher amp fuse.. you have a higher chance of blowing the unit that wiring system is hooked up to before you blow the fuse..since the fuse ampage is not to its specifics.

what i would recommend is replacing the fuse with the correct amp so you will not have any electrical problems. also if the wire system overheats.. it can burn you wires and cost more in the long run...

something is shorting out if you keep blowing fuses. A higher amp fuse is NOT the answer. Check all your connections to make sure you aren't grounding anything out

You will blow something else instead of the fuse if you change it to a 30A fuse.

ya, blow me up from the seat ...but i guess it's ok now, changed to 20 for 1 days seems fine, then change back to 7.5 and it works, it's just so weird. All i need now is a new speedometer.
