window problem

Postby gom01 » Wed Nov 12, 2003 10:41 pm

Hey guys, I have a problem with the driver side window on the door... My gf took my car today and had gotten a carwash but when the machine was spraying the car with water she said water was coming inside the window and making my doorpanel very wet... I noticed that the rubber that stays on the car where the window should be started peeling... is there any way I can get this rubber and replace it myself? Cuz its really peeling off my car and how hard is it to put it on? Thanks... Sorry if someone already posted this, I couldn't find anything about this problem... This problem is really pissin me off... :x

well, your first problem is letting your gf drive your car! seriously tho, look at the condition the weather stripping is in. You may be able to reattach it with some caulk. If not, I'm sure your local dealer could hook you up with some. Maybe looking into those wind deflectors wouldn't be a bad idea either, just to keep water away from the top of your window...
