Postby kondo » Wed Jan 07, 2004 4:18 pm

So if I put the stickers on my paint and leave them they will fuckup the paint? Are you sure they are suppoed to be high quality vynal. I was going to put them all over my car. My paint is alreay all jacked up. I always park my car out side anyway and it has like 74000 miles of abuse and it's over 4 years old. What kind of damage to the paint are you talking about?

thanks

Nick

well maybe i should clear a few things up. first of all good quality vinyl shouldn't take paint off. the reason i say stickers are bad on the body is that most ppl will stick it on and wont remove them for a long time. when it comes time to change it, it is very hard to remove. there are removers out there but many times lots of scraping is involved, which inevitably will cause some scrtching of the car. if your car is light in color (silver, white, etc) this may not be very noticeable. for darker color cars little scratches are more noticeable. if you put stickers on and remove them peridoically you should be ok, like i mentioned b4 show cars remove them often and since most show cars are not driven very often are not subjected to heat, dirt, etc which contribute to stickers not coming off very easily. again your preference, i personally will never put stickers on the body of my car again unless i know its gonna be for short period of time.
