You'll laugh about that moment in a couple years. Thats pretty crazy, snow sucks, atleast you made it out ok.

good idea...or, if you didn't mind waiting, I would have called roadside and had them bring out a wheel lift that grabs the car by the tires only (doesn't hook to anything else)..this way they coulda put the car in neutral and pulled it back a few feet.

My best guess, is that since you weren't paying, the guy just used what ever stuff he had.
