Pumping the brakes on a car equipped with ABS doesn't "turn off" the ABS. (not sure what your trying to say) I think were on the same page here, its just difficult to phrase correctly.
PAPA SOLARA: I appreciate your concern. Have you ever driven a car without ABS? Did I ever say I would do this on a "everyday basis". Do you think I'm some arsehole kid out there doing doughnuts in parking lots all day? I do, but not in my solara. You should try it. Also try taking EVOC training classes and mastering FWD and RWD platforms. Also have a dose 4x4 EVOC and off road emergency recovery training. Where did I say that my tires "burn" through the snow into the pavement below??? I love it when my tires BURN through stuff, its cool. (sarcasm.) Did I not state that in my previous posts that for the inexperinced driver, ( like your daughter when she leaves my house after having her cherry popped both in the front and back door) an option such as an ABS braking sytem would be better for her in an emergency control situation, so she could keep her mind on her aching holes, rather than concentrating on road and her braking technique. So next time when replying and throwing in your two cents, try to stick to the flanking topic and not reply with some bulshite you pulled out of your allstate insurance policy pamphlet. Thank you very much, and enjoy your increased following distances. Just like I do.
