clutch is sticking!

For some reason my clutch pedal is sticking, and at times I can not even engage any gear including first. When i pump the clutch pedal it seems to unstick temporarily, and I can the car moving, but first second and third are all tough to get into. What is going on here?>?>

my friends rx7 does that too. it only happpend recently though
