As always, Jeff at ToyotaParts4U.com got me, BY FAR, the best quote for the OEM sensors. The dealer up the block wanted $652 for both.

100 bucks for a Denso OEM. I went with a universal brand sensor that did not include the plugs for my after cat sensor and it was only 60 bucks. Its been working fine for the past 6 months.

holy cow that's cheap. too bad the stupid dealer won't install aftermarket parts. is it hard to install an upstream sensor?

Thanks. But if you go back to that site and check the cali edition sensors you will see prices of $240 & up...

I didnt think to look up a late model solara for that quote. I looked up a camry.

And quite honestly, I wouldnt be surprised of the universal one worked fine. its not like the "california" version has a flashing light or a "California" stamp on it, ya know?
