Well it would appear that my passenger side brake light is out, but when my alarm arms the light flashes. I think that's the same light, but not sure. Ideas?

What I meant was when the alarm arms the brake light flashes. It's not the bulb unless it is moody.

well....i don't know if i have a short somewhere...but every 35 days or so, i replace my passanger tail stop/brake bulb. The parking lights work fine...its the brake thingie (brighter fillament) that doesn't work! This is my 4th bulb on the car..and my 3rd in the past 4 months! Its not like i'm buying cheap bulbs....slyvania's!
i'm guessin' ur problem is the bulb as well...one of the fillaments is out!

Well I already have bulbs just haven't gotten around to putting one in yet, I guess I'll try that tonight. The guy at the part store said it might be the brake light switch, but I wouldn't have any idea how to replace that.

When your alarm arms, it flashes the lights that go on when you turn on your headlights one notch. It doesnt use your brake light. basically its kinda like a dual filament kinda deal

so just replace it and your done! :D

my rear driver side went out when I broke but it would go back on when I just have my headlights on (same as arming your car).
Retired... its been fun Image
