V6. WOW!!

It ran a little sluggish before, but now it is so smooth. Like new, but I have 75K on it (99 SLE). I know Toyota uses an additive to clean out the carbon, but my mechanic did it old school style. The plugs were very dark and were on there since day one. 60K is def. the max. for plugs and clean everything out while it's apart. It runs hella smooth now. I just used DENSO plugs, double platinum. Also had the PS pump replaced cuz it was leaking. This is not normally a prob, so I got a used one with 34K for $50. Nice.

How did you get so much carbon. Do you drive like a Grandma or did you just buy the car?
