im pretty sure i got my atf flushed at like 45k.....but im just curious, whats the difference?

In a flush they (mechanic, etc.) hook up a pump with ATF and flush out the old ATF sitting in the torque converter (it won't come out with just a drain).

I'm too cheap to pay someone to do this so I just drained and refilled. Drove the car 2 miles. Then drained and refilled again. That will get 98% of the ATF out of the torque converter.

flushing is running the fluid thru it, while draining at hte same time.
drain & refill is draining until empty then refill it.

Go for the more expensive one...Drain..(Toyota dealer) It's like $15.00 difference.

Yeah the drain they actualy drop the pan and clean the gunk out w/filter cleaning or replacement if needed.

The other is just plug and flush like they said. Don't forget to ask about the tourque converter drain.
