I've spent the past few weeks luring on this board and soaking up all the info that I can. But I'd like to get your opinion on keeping my "New 2 Me" Solara in top shape. Here are some specs and history.

1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6
Looks to be all options except the moonroof.
Purchased from Kinderhook Toyota a few weeks ago.
20,800mi on clock when purchased.

I'm intending this to be my summer car and drive my 2000 Ford Taurus SES in the winter, since I have 4 studded snows on it and it's a tank.

I've changed the oil to Mobil1 and plan on using OEM/Denso filters whenever possible.

My service schedule for this car intends to be like this, since it'll be garaged and covered from Thanksgiving to April 15th.

Mobil1 5w-30 every 5kmi with filter change and top off every 2.5kmi.
New oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, trans drain and fill with Toyota T-IV and PCV Valve each spring along with tire rotate/balance and an alignment.

So far my add-ons are 35% bronze tint.

I'm planning on:

Fumoto Oil Drain Valve
Magnet Bra
Transmission Cooler
Bilstein Struts

I'm not intending to make this a race car or win any style contests. I just want to keep it looking nice and running great for quite a few years. Any suggestions would be great!!

Welcome! Sorry if you read this already (It got deleted during the night). Anyway, go with a TRD rear sway bar for a better handling car.

I would pass on the bra. They are not supposed to be used in the rain, they usually move around a bit at speed and can scratch the paint, and you need to remove each time you wash your car.
Transmission cooler? Unless you are doing a bunch of racing or have a high stall converter, I don't see the need for that either.
Save for a supercharger instead! I've seen some sell for $1000 on eBay for automatics.

Thanks for the welcome guys and the tip on the bra. I'll pass on the bra and just pick up some touch up paint next time I'm at the stealership.

Also in my first few thousand miles of driving I've managed to get a nice rock chip in the windshield. Guess I have to call GEICO and get a glass shop to fix'em before they spider.
