99 SLE's...did they come in 5spd manual?

When i was first buying my solara, the dealership told me that it was an SLE even though it said SE. I found out that there was no way a 5-speed could be an SLE, so I went back and they lowered the price because an SLE is soposed to cost quite a bit more than an SE because of the manual tranny. Plus I was told that all SLE's have sunroofs which mine didnt, making it an SE.

I don't know if this is true.....BUT when we were shopping for our gen 4 camry, they came with two 4speed auto's as well (since gen 1 solara is based on the gen 4 camry) one was with trac control (CA emmissions) and one came without...(48 states). but thats like what8 years ago...so i could be WRONG!

There are some SLE's without moonroofs, but I'd say 90% of the SLE's do have the power roof (it was an "option", but almost all have that option.)
