it WILL look funny because you will have at least 6 inches of wheel gap.
1999 Solara V6 5spd 155k miles
TEIN springs. thats it.

I think you should lower it. If not for looks than for handling.

agreed, you will get more out of stiffening the suspension than buying new rollers...cost wise it will be about the same if not cheaper to purchase struts and springs

I just put on the TRD wheels 225/45/17 on my stock 99 Red Solara SE-V6. I think my car looks good. I get compliments all the time. It may look a little better lowered, but I like the way my cars drives and I don't want to jeopardize the way the car rides anymore.
