will i notice a improvement of some sort that i once had but lost

No. PCV does not affect the engines performance, but a clogged PCV will cause the engine to fail

Yeah what Yanks said. ^

I just replaced mine also but did other maintenance along with it.

Oil Change
Fuel Injector Cleaner (Gas Tank)
Fuel Injector Cleaner (Throttle Body)

I did notice improvement in throttle response & Idle and a smoother exhaust tone.
