Muffler Upgrade

I wanna do a simple muffler swap for as little as I can. I was thinking about the TRD Muffler upgrade but it's kinda pricey for just a muffler. Does anybody know of a cheaper single in/single out muffler I could buy to swap out with the stock one?

you could buy a used TRD bolt on muffler (like i did).. a bunch of used greddy evo exhausts up for sale too.. but i think theyre all snatched up already. just please dont rush into it and get a ricey fart-can. hehe, but yea, if ur on a budget, just be patient.. used is probably your best bet. good luck.

Just buy a universal muffler. You can get one for under $100

don't know if they still sell it but, check out Borla exhaust systems. they are the ones who originally made the TRD exhaust before TRD badged it and jacked up the price.

just buy a universal muffler you like and bring it into a good muffler shop and told them you want them to intsall it with custom flange unit, so they wont cut your muffler and use the flange (and it will be same set up as TRD). Expect installation fee should be about $45 dollars

the trd one isnt that great except that it fits without modfying the hangers. if you just change the trd one and dpont modify the pipe it doesnt do jack in my opinion. it is barely louder then stock.....blah.
