Hella water on rear pass. floor...

A LOT of water here, but I'll be damned if I can find where it's coming from. My moonroof sounds janky, so I thought it might be a drain up there. It's gonna suck, but the headliner would have to come off to check it out. I'll take that to a place that does moonroofs (not the dealer) here. Just wondering if anyone knows of an issue with our cars-- stock V6 SLE '99-- or if it's a freaky type thing. Sucks for sure. No odor or anything, just a grip of water back there.

there are certain drail holes, but the dealerships usually remove the tacts before selling new cars. I'm assuming tabs are still on. (a wild guess here).

seats wet

No, just the floorboard in the back. Inside the car. The seats are dry. It's a trip I even noticed it because you can't really tell unless you feel it. The headliner is dry. I could snap pics but you couldn't see anything. The floor BEHIND the pass. front seat is soaked. Thought it might be the car wash or the rain or something. I dunno...

some thing has happened to me
i was even dumb enough to buy a $60 weather seal trim for the door, wut a waste.

Funny you mention that. I had a bottle of Frebreeze that was leaking, but it has since dried up and become wet since that. I mean hella wet, wetter than a whole bottle of Febreeze. But, I am going to doublecheck that possibility right now. Good lookin' out bro.

I am having the same problem but on the driver side and i dont have a moonroof.
I notice it only happens when i wash the car (it is dry after it rains).
Somone on another board (WHOA) said it might be the door window might be out of align.

I noticed this AM that the front pass. side floorboard is wet, too. It rained HARD last night. No smell at all. It must dry quick? I may call Toyota to see what they say over the phone.

i kinda figured this out after i tried to drive through a puddle that was so deep it went to near below my headlights.

water is leaking in from the seat frame bolts. i also notice that sometimes the floor is wet after i drive on wet roads. only SOMETIMES though.

lol yeah, yeah, yeah. i know. it's a long story, but basically: freeway was damn flooded; all cars were stuck on the freeway waiting for firemen to get rid of the water; gf in car, horny; HAD TO GET HOME.

but i didn't make it....bleh. talk about having a hard on for 'bout 2-3 hours.

Try to drive for about a week with your A/C off, the air condenser "I beleive its called" is located inside the car and if the drain is clogged, the pan will overflow inside the car. Is there water on the ground under your car after sitting in one place for a while with the a/c on full blast???

That's what Toyota said to do over the phone. Use fresh air on the AC, too. Are you meaning the evaporator core? The AC condensor is under the hood. This kinda is starting to be the sucketh.
