Brake Pads and Years

Hey guys,

I'm trying to buy brake pads for my car, but I'm kinda gettin' confused between years of the cars. I have Solara 2003, which is based on Camry 2001, right? So does that mean that I can use brake pads (or any other parts) if it says that Camry 99 - 01 and Solara 99 - 01? I've also seen Solara 99 - 02, Camry ~02 and such. How do you find out whether the parts is compatible? Even some of the Air Intakes say that it's compatible up to 01 or 02.

and about ur question, yes. 99-01 was Gen 1. 02-03 was Gen 1.5, with body accent modifications, vvti whatever tec added to the 4 cyl and i think the 6. no major engine changes. They are not very different except some exterior changes.
