SolaraGuy. My wife's shop has built 4-5 supercharged Solaras from the block up, nitrous installs (JoeB), water injection (waste of effort) and Tabasco's turbo Solara. She has a paintbooth at her shop also and has painted Tabasco and Silverious Solaras.

I too am a do it yourselfer (except for painting items I want to look nice and the welding that could save my life (rollcage and suspension) to someone who knows more than I. ) I have my own spraygun, a paintbooth and even powdercoating equipment I mess with plenty as a do-it-myselfer. But when it comes to exterior panels on a car I want to appear factory paint, I have someone else prep and spray. It beats screwing it all up with 'fisheyes', runs, dust in paint, overspray, colormatch by blending, orangepeeling,... and uses and waste less materials than I will. Then it generally comes out right the first time and I don't have to pay someone to strip and fix my first attempt.
Grills are the easyist to paint because there is no large surface area.
BTW, don't forget flex-additive for any panels in your kit subject to flexing (side skirts for rocker panels) or its going to crack and peel later. EDIT: You posted while I was writing, and revealed you already foresaw the need for the correct additives.
