P0100 – Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor circuit malfunction · Open or short in MAF sensor circuit
· MAF sensor malfunction
· PCM malfunction

P0110 – Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit malfunction · Open or short in IAT sensor circuit
· IAT sensor malfunction
· PCM malfunction

P0120 – Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor (TPS) circuit malfunction
· Open or short in TPS circuit
· TPS malfunction
· PCM malfunction

Ok i see the descriptions for each of these codes but I'm a bit confused on how critical these are (meaning, is this something i need to get fixed tomorrow? or can they wait, maybe a week or 2?), and how did they occur.

I just got my new clutch installed yesterday and I was wondering if any of these may be related. I dont see how the first 2 could be related (or are they?), but I'm dubious about the 3rd one. A few months ago I purchased the MAF upgrade (Supra MAF) from trd4life but haven't been able to install so I'm thinking that could replace the current MAF (fix P0100) correct? is code P0110 (IAT sensor) related? if I replace my MAF with the upgrade, do you guys think that will take care of these 2 problems? and can someone explain to me what the P0120 (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor (TPS)) is?

And last question, before replacing anything, can someone tell me what could've caused these errors so that i dont mess up the new parts?

Thanks in advance for your assistance, thanks!!!

something that just came up to mind too, the engine light didnt come on til about 1 hr later (the whole time I was driving it) after i put some gas in the car, if the shop maybe didnt re-connect the sensors correctly, shouldnt the engine light have come on right after i picked it up from the shop?

if the connectors are on good i'd say its possible that they pinched the harness between the trans and engine thus breaking the circuit, if this is the case you could with only a little electrical know how find the break and fix it.

check the plug on the tps (on tbody) if its good and tight check that with the key on you have 5 volts to the reference wire and check on the signal wire that in relation to ground when you move the throttle plate the voltage changes.

the check engine light is not on anymore, i'm assuming after i got it checked at AutoZone last night it got reset, but my shop tells me that they can't read them if the check engine light is not on anymore, unless the codes get saved in some sort of memory, do you guys know if our cars save the error codes history in the memory? my shop pretty much told me i can bring in the car and they'll check it out, but they would need to be able to read the codes, your thoughts?

damn.. ok man, thanks. The car seems to want to stall everytime i stop so as soon as I get a chance I'll get the MAF replaced with the Supra upgrade, hopefully that will take care of the P0100 & P0110. I just wish I knew what the P0120 really is.
