Yes, in the owner's manual, it recommends that you turn on your O/D all the time for better fuel economy. O/D off basically restricts your engine from going to the 4th gear. I only use O/D off for engine braking (ie. slowing down on a freeway exit) and for speeding up (ie. entering freeways). And then I turn it back on. I also use it when I'm driving on I-17 towards Santa Cruz because it is a curve-tricky and steep freeway.

ebrakes should only be up when parking. Never forget to put it off when you're driving.

As for perforated part of your leather, I wouldn't know because I dont have that. But, I would suggest you use a towel-like wipe for it. Maybe a brush?

If you have a stick, PUT UP THE EBRAKE hehe

On an auto it is highly reccomended that you use the E-Brake. Without it the auto trans is the only thing holding the car from sliding. This puts excess stress on it and over time can cause failure. I always use it

For the leather, I'd recommend the Meguiars leather wipes. I got a box of them last week, and they worked great, without any residue building up in the perforations. At first, the wipes are soaked in cleaner, but if you wipe off the non-perforated parts of the car first (backs of seats, etc) and then go over the perforated sections, you should be in good shape.
