How many miles are stock struts due for replacement?

it really depends on how you drive (how you go over speedbumps and other bumps/pot holes on the road) and the your terrain where you drive. 99.99999% its your passanger front that needs replacement (but then again, how many people replace one stock strut only..they always do it in pairs). My celica' struts lasted till 160K miles (when my front passnager one went). Pop's cressida lasted 145K Kms (same passanger front problemo)...my es struts are on 175K babied miles. So it all depends on how you drive.

It totally is a matter of how/where you drive.

When I had my Tundra, I went through a set of coilovers about every 30K mi (at $1700 a set!) - but that's because I took every opportunity to get the thing airborne!

I would think in "normal" conditions on a car, you should get at least 100K out of them - most likely a lot more.

for my celica it wasn't as much as cadi floating feel to it, as much as botomming out at potholes!

yeah...I second what Jai said... either you're bottoming out or when you go over a slight bump/dip on the road your car starts bouncing.
