Wierd Noise coming from the Front Left side UPDATE

This started a couple of days ago. When I'm driving straight no matter what the speed is, there is a wierd sound, if I drive faster it only gets louder and whine faster. In my opinion it sounds like 2 metals rubbing against each other. Not sure what it is, I took off the tire and checked all around but couldn't see anything physically touching or rubbing against each other. My only thought right now is probably the brake pads are wearing unevenly and moving around? But this sound occurs when the car is in moving and not in braking. If anyone has dealt with this problem before let me know. Thanks in advance.

warped rotors (sounds more scratchy then squeeky) or could be berings?

Thanks for the replies. I don't think its the rotors though, cause it makes sound just by motion. Basically when the car is moving it'll make the noise, not even when braking. I'm leaning towards the bearings but I can't see why it would go out so fast. It only has 35K on it. I'll look further more into it. Let me know more suggestions if you guys come up with any more. It could be your bearings, just jack up the car and check the whole wheel assy by trying to move it around....

If your car feels like its vibrating and the wheel shakes. Wiggle your axle. If there is any play your bearings are gone.

check how thick the brake pads are, if they are metal on metal they'll make noise w/o braking

Front Left/Right Wheel Bearings were damaged. Replaced them and it was fixed.

I just noticed a little whining noise coming from the left side its like a little squeal that starts after 40. If i brake it or steer it goes away. Could this be the problem?

Maybe.....for me the sound just existed when the car is in motion in any speed. Obviously if at lower speeds its not that loud, when you go faster its more noticeable. My best advice to test to see if it is a bearing is to let it roll on a downhill. If you hear the sound getting louder then its a bearing for sure. The bearings weren't too expensive I guess. I bought the front two for like $116 with tax at the dealer.
