1MZ-FE Jp Performance Headers/Exhaust

We need a automatic to test fit the headers and full exhaust on. Car must not have pre-cats (should be the same though). The install will be free and your car will probably take about 5 days unless it dosn't fit on a auto the same as a manual then it will be longer to make the apropriete changes. Jp Performance is in Santa Ana, Ca.

You can keep the headers after you pay for them, the install is free.

Voided Warranty?

Postby JMSinMaryland » Thu Jan 30, 2003 8:25 pm

So it's true it does void the warranty? Under what 'rule' in the aftermarket handbook does it void it? Jon.

In California and pretty sure through federal emissions laws, if you alter anything emissions related i.e. exhaust/headers, catalytic converter and etc, you void the warranty. It's that simple.

Exhaust too?

Postby JMSinMaryland » Sun Feb 02, 2003 11:05 am

So technically the aftermarket cat-back exhaust voided my warranty? I understand a 10psi pulley and S-AFC voiding warranty but I don't really think headers/y-pipe/cat-back really affect anything major as to actually affect a part and therefore the warranty. Jon. p.s. is this stuff listed in the owner's manual or the Toyota website?
