Wassup man...
unlike my V6 brethren, you can look into forced induction on the 4 cylinder, from what I have seen it is a stout lil engine, and it has been able to handle decent boost from a small turbo.
My recommendation though would be to work on the suspension first, brakes, and then maybe a body kit.
If you want something with a lil more power, then sell he one you have, and get a V6, but in all honesty, the lil 4 cylinder has some kick. My ex had a camry with the 4 cylinder. It ran decently, compared to my mildly modded Nissan Stanza. So dont look down on your car just cuz it has a 4 cylinder.
I look at it like this, you have less weight to throw around, you can turbo a lot easier, and still have the same suspension mods the v6 guys are rockin'!.... numbers from a turbo kit were in the mid 200hp range.... but I dunno about the reliability of this kit, or the implications that come from it on the 4 cylinder. I thought about getting a 4 cylinder as a second car, and doing a celica engine swap on it.
Good luck on your journey to modding man, and regardless of what anyone says, you make your car special, by being a responsible owner.
