this is what was posted on ask .com
no awnser so i turn to you guys

"follow up to this:
http://www.allexperts.com/user.cgi?m=6& ... ID=4566368

i brought it in with one week left of the 8 year 'sludge' waranty

they ran compression, and passed but state that the amount of sludge is not significant and the oil is circulating and were unable to verify any oil loss

i find this mind blowing as inside the valve cover looked like it was covered in a half inch of chocolate, not to mention the extreem oil loss

they said come back in 500mi for consumption followup

question #1:
now they confirm no burn off in start up, no leaks, nor compression problems so what else could it be!

question #2:
the hesitation/ misfiring causes no acceleration until 3k rpm (still weak)now seems to be the result of error codes p0402, p1411, p0305

i use to get p0401 but rplaced the egr vsv
seems the vps may be f-ed up too.... failed stated resistance stated in hanes manual

thanks for the previouse input and hopefuly you have more insite"
