Stock talk about the Generation 1 and 1.5 Toyota Solara which were produced from 1999 to 2003.

A dumb question

Am i trippin?
toyota did NOT make the solara for the JDM market... right? My friend insisted that the solara was in the JDM market for a while and was supposed to replace the supra.
And he wont let it go
But he drives a supra so im not sure if i should give him credibility and research. Typing JDM solara in google shows up nothing

LOL

Chunks: While it is true our solara's are made for North/American market only, there are instances when enthusiast have exported their solaras's to other counties. From my time here i recall them being noticed at russia (two), india, UAE. These are what we're aware of. But i'm sure there are instances when it got exported to a country when none of us have noticed yet!

The solara to our JDM cousins are prob. what Chasers are to us. In a way we got something that someone desires and can't have. Kinda makes up for all the kewl crap we got denied

I hear ya Tracy -

I was down in San Clemente today and pulled up next to a new Porsche Boxter (silver/black w/Brembo kit) and I thought - wow - that's small!! At least I can put peeps in my back seat (and be left in the dust against that beast!) :o

But then two rich li'l college-aged kids came out to get in it, and they stopped to look inside my ride and walked around to see the back. I can't wait to have some decent wheels on it so it'll really be worthy of the attention! ;)
