i will be painting my renova grill myself. i figure if u mess it up my buddy's dad has a body shop so im all good in that sense. my friends just painted his grill on his accord and he said about three coats of color and then clear over it. he basically said to paint it the same way it will sit on the car, and also to make sure its super clean before hand. does anyone know any other tips.
i am figuring to go to the autoshop and buy a spray can of my color... thanx. :bday:

Dude do a search for someone who painted their own grill here (before the renova grill); your friends has his steps correct. Are you masking up the mesh??? (hint hint).

wipe it with naptha(?spelling), let dry and wipe with a tack cloth to pick up any dust. Dont touch with your fingers b4 you paint or the oil from your skin wont let the paint adhere. Goooood luck. :D

thanx yea im just gonna take the mesh off then paint i think, then reattach with some liquid nails/caulk?
