Need good body shop in Los Angeles Area

The chrome flakes on my Gen 1 grill are starting to flake off. Can someone recommend a good body shop to get the grill removed and painted? (LA area) Preferably someone who's done this sort of work before. How much would something like this cost? Thanks.

There's a mail-in service in City of Orange (or you can take it to them) that does the plating for about $225, and they could do the entire grill too.

Hey Nef - do they do the plastic plating there too?

Minchman - If you're looking for a good (quality) paint shop, then check out Lanzini Body Works in HB. Mitch does most of Chip Foose's rides, so you KNOW the quality is supreme!

And believe it or not, he's VERY reasonably priced! Tell them I sent you (maybe they'll charge you double - LOL!)

why dont you just buy a new grille, it will probably cost about the same as a bodyshop refinishing it for you

That should explain myself 8) (sorry, I'm lazy). Actually, this is the only place that I know of around SoCal that chromes plastic, and that's the price they quoted me when I wanted to chrome the entire Gen1 OEM grill, but that was before the advent of Renova grills. Hell, even my signature shows my failed attempt at using chrome spray paint (now it's a matte black).
