my left tail burned out last week too, so i went to autozone to pick up a new bulb and right next to the regular bulb there were these special Red LED bulbs that will fit perfectly. i installed them instead of the standard bulb and they are SO cool! when u hit the break, they are Much brighter than stock bulbs, plus they give that expensive LED look that are on a lot of high end cars nowadays. only one downside, they are like $16 for a pack of two. but it says they are supposed to last the life of the car plus they look much better so i thought is was worth it.

Postby Guest » Wed Mar 19, 2003 9:25 am

Is there a recall notice for this? Or at least a TSB? Whats happening with Toyota quality control these days? I've had 4 Toyotas total, and never had to replace a bulb!

Even if it does, it's something too small to worry about. Now if it were mechanical, then i'd be a bit more concerned.

ADMIN
please lock the post. we're not benefiting anymore from this... plus we wouldn't want to fill up space on the server w/ useless posts. (sorry for the post, but this is probably the fastest way to get it locked w/o spamming the admins :D )

Thats really not something to be worried about. They arent going to Issue a TSB for a bulb that reguarly burns out.
