90K Maintenance Recommendations

Postby Courtster » Mon Mar 26, 2007 3:24 pm

So I've rolled past 90K, well 94k now, and I'm looking to do a little maintenace on the Solara. Nothing is broken, but I'm the kind of guy who doesnt mind spending a little money now to have some peace of mind that I'm preventing problems in the future. I'm looking to see what you guys might recommend, or not recommend I do.

Here is my current list:
- Timing belt (obviously)
- Water pump (might as well while they are replacing the belt)
- Fluid drain and fill (Tranny and Coolant)
- Brakes (I already bought all four Brembo rotors, EBC red pads and steel lines a while back, they are just sittin in my shed)

I already have iridium plugs at 60k, I run Mobile1 syn and have the CP-E intake so I'll clean the filter. What else might you guys recommend?

It could be my imagination, but the tranny sometimes feels like its bogging down a little. Like if I lightly release the gas, I can feel the trannny grab and slow faster than it should. Any ideas?

Thanks for your input!

The Brembo blanks sound great but I have heard many squealing problems occur with other pads used besides OEM even on upgraded rotors.

-When's the last time you changed your fuel filter & cleaned fuel injectors?
