Stalls when starting the car
For some reason my car stalls when i start the car in the mornings. I park my car outside (no garage space..since other cars are inside!). Also, this happens sometimes and not always, and only in the mornings...when the car was left overnight! Do note that i park on my driveway...and its slightly inclines, and i park my car facing the street. I turn the key, and the starup seems to lack gas/air??? (from the sound)..this happens for the first 3-4 seconds...and then it normal warmup. My car's got about 27K miles on it, and yes its is a 5S-FE. Serviced every 3K miles since new...and right now I am about 600 more miles away from another service. This is what I think could be wrong:
1. my fuel filter is dirty and need to be replaced?? (service will solve that)
2. coolant sensor?? (How could I tell if this is bad/kaput, Autozone???)
3. vaccum sensor (Same like two, Autozone???)
Or is there anything else you all can think off?? Also, anyone in the same boat as me...I know we had this problem in our cressida as well...the way, we solved it was to pump the accel twice before start up, and that worked fine for 170K miles! (hahah). But since this car is under warranty, just wanted to get it fixed!
