ebay has spacers. when does it rub? are you sure it is the suspension? what size are your tires?

what rims do you have and where did you purchase them?

If your tires are no wider than 225, and your offset is correct, then you shouldn't have a problem with rubbing, at least under normal driving conditions. I assume that your car is lowered. Check the offset, which should be 38-40 for 18's and something like a 225/40/18 tire.

Is the rubbing severe, and does it occur all the time, or only under certain conditions? As an alternative to spacers, you could have your fenders rolled or shaved.

this is the part i am not clear on.

if his tire rubs on the suspension, then he will need spacers.

if his tire rubs on the fender, then that needs to be rolled.

You're right. Until he gives us his offset, we don't really know what to tell him.

Sounds like you have a offset of 45 or higher which causes the rim to sit more inward of the wheelwell.

i have a set of rims that are 18x7.5 and with the offset of 45. i dont get any rubbing but they are really close tot he strut about 3/4" away. But i dont get any rubbing at all. But if you have 46 or higher your are going to def. get some rubbing. like flip said anything above 45. you may wanna go on ebay and look for a 3/4" spaceror higher depending on your offset. Or go to your local wheel shop. they should have some.

Get a 2mm spacer from a wheel/tire shop.
