You should definately use it! It's a GREAT gas saver!!! (I got over 500 miles on 5/8 of a tank)

You want an advance lesson on cruise control?
Get your car up to 30mph... then engage cruise control... THen use the Cruise Control stick to accelerate instead of the gas pedal.
WhY? Because the car will accelerate in increments of 1mph, so you will use the least possible fuel to accelerate, rather then use the pedal and use more fuel.

When you do this, you accelerate kinda slow, but it will save you gas. Good idea, if you don't mind accelerating like an old lady.

Shhhh..they're not suppose to know it was for me!!
You'd be so proud, Jeff! After you're little "cruise control 101" at 4am on AIM, I figured it out in 10seconds flat  Of course I didn't have that website at the time!

I didn't get to use the CC on the hgwy though :(.....traffic kept going from 65-85 every 2 seconds. Not to mention that friggin Vermont-Jetta-tree hugger tailgating me going 80... (I swear I didn't frequently brake for no reason.....really)

Soooo...turns out I'm only 30-35miles from the NH border (frightening I'm that close to the weirdos/tree huggers..haha..j/k)....

Soooo...Grand total gas mileage!!!
18mpg!!!
