2003 Toyota Tacoma 4WD V6 yesterday. I really needed a truck since getting the new house. I went to the dealership to drop off my buddy Tim for his Camry's 30K service. While I was there I wanted to take the 04 Solara for a test drive. I drove a black SLE V6 w/navigation. What a beauty! It was almost $30k. When the salesman asked if I was going to drive it home today I was like I was driving home, but not in the SLE. Doh what a fool!! I told him I really needed a truck, he showed me the 03 Tacoma it was so cool looking! I traded in the Solara and drove away with the Tacoma. All spur of the moment. I had no intentions of buying a new "anything". I guess it was ment to be. Anyway, I'm no longer a Solara owner although my heart is crying for my baby back. (not ribs) :D
Maybe there's a "TacomaGuy web site!! If not, I'll start one!

Here's a link to my new Tacooma's web site.

Hope you guys n gals like my new ride.

Hey it was ment to be! Let me tell you that truck looks great!!!! I stay away from the new care section when I go to get my car serviced because I end up sitting in all of the new toyotas! I almost did a crazy deal for a new seqoia. And then I slaped myself to get out of the dream of $580 monthly payments! Soon I will get it when my Sienna lease is up. But keep my Solara. I got 3 kids! The Sienna started to shrink on me after a while and can't wait to trade it in for something alot bigger. Enjoy your new truck. Definatly looking sleek!

Hmm why would you need a truck just because you are getting a new house??

it's a helluva lot easier to pile stuff in a trunk than to pile stuff in the backseat of the solara!

Got a new house. How ya gonna bring stuff home you bought at home depot? Like say wood ( plywood ) Shrubs from nurseries, antique furniture. That BIG A S S... HDTV rear projection Sony TV! Stuff for the house you just can't fit into a Solara trunk.

When / if your a home owner you'll understand. :)
