A bulb is out and I can't seem to get to it. Help

One of the bulbs in the HVAC in my car has gone out. This is the perfect chance to change them all over to blue bulbs as I had planned. I got al lthe bulbs already but when I took off the knobs and took out those screws behind the knobs, the front didn't just come off like I had read in other places on this board. Then I removed that whole trim peice that has the clock on it and I removed the 4 screws surrounding the HVAC and tried to remove that but it wouldn't come out b\c there are things attached to it that don't come unplugged. Am I missing something here or doing something wrong?

if you having the manual AC, there are two clips on the top.

just twist around and it should come out, but i don't think you can change the bulb cuz i don't think they are 2721 and i fudge it up.

take off your entire center console. it pops right off with enough force. try using a panel puller at your local automotive dept. store to pop the clip from behind.
