Rim Repair in Los Angeles

Rim Repair in Los Angeles

Postby mailskobe » Sat Mar 27, 2004 3:35 pm

Hi,
I got one of my 5Zigen Copse 18s bent. The rims are strong and have had no problems for about 7k or 8k miles that i did on them.

unfortunately, there was a BIG STONE on the white line towards the right end of the 101 freeway and i went over it at 70MPH! :drinking: my car actually jumped about half a feet.. the rim is bent, but surprisingly the tire is ok... also there is no wobble whatsoever!

Do you guys know any rim repair shops in LA area and how much it would cost?

thanks,
mailskobe

Is it off lankershim and vanowen???

Off of Whitsett.

I had a bent rim and I also wanted my old rims refurbished. The total for rim fix and refurbish on all 4 rims was about $200.

Hi,
I called fixrim, they said it should take from 100 to 200. the bummer is that it takes 5 to 7 days!!!

krawzyazn, let me knwo the carson number so that i can compare. I got my original rims for a steal deal of 150 or something, i dont think i will get that deal now...

i am thinking whats better, spend 100 on fixing the rim or spend 200 on a new wheel :agrue:
