How about take a picture?

Anyways, replace the battery with an Energizer with 650CCA and it's cheaper than OEM... the stock one sucked major balls.

My bro said he read the cosumer report and they rated "Diehard" from sears as #1, but they are pricy. They rated the "kirkland" from costco 2nd and best value.

Deep Cycle Battery

Postby WortownSolara » Sat May 01, 2004 6:44 am

Yellow tops are great, especially if you have a system. Optima uses a gel cell technology to allow the battery to have more full charges in its life. Personally i have an Orbital/Exide 34xcd. Which is one of the more powerful batteries on the market Cold Cranking Amps are over 950, but more importantly its got a run time over an hour, which is really tough to accomplish in high amp systems, they are a little bit more money, but you'll never have to buy another one.

Does anybody has the stock battery's cap? If I have that I'll be able to charge it so I don't have to buy another battery.

fyi, batteries don't normally last longer than 3 years. some may go as long as 5, but its bound to crap out sometime.

do you have any other cars in the family? just pop it off that car to go charge it.

what you have missing can contribute big time for the battery dying on you.

also wash out the possible drippage area the battery acid touched in the engine bay. if you don't you'll end up with rusting parts.

I do have another car in my family and that's what I've been driving since the car won't start. I bought some acid water today and the car actuelly started but now I have to face the problem that since I don't have the cap the acid will go out again soon. I know that battery don't last more then 3 years, but I've only have my car less then 2 years. I did try to find the cap everywhere pepboys, sears, autozone, toyota dealer, etc..... they don't have it, even the junk yard.

batteries are cheap..just replace the battery or go to a junkyard and find a cap from a newly crashed car/truck. A battery is battery. Unless u have a lot of neons or stereo equpt. or something that needs extra juice...any battery would be suffice for ya!
