Listen Champ, I'm gonna save you some major flaming and telly ou right now that it has been discussed so many times on this forum so use the search function, and second, read the stickies. In one of them, you should have definatly read that the DIY section is for posting DIY's only.

pssst!

doing it yourself does not mean you can post in the forum.

the DIY is for posting on HOW to DIY jobs.

I am DOING IT MYSELF that is why I posted under DO IT YOURSELF. Just because I am not installing a S/C does not mean I cannot post a question. This is a forum, it might be an easy thing I am asking, but it dosn't mean I should be "flamed" for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, chill out. You will get this kind of response with ANY forum you go to if you ask a question that has been asked a million times before. Which is why this forum has 'stickies' at the top of every section asking you to search before you post. There are two kinds of people in the world, people that ask questions, and people that search for their answers before asking. MGlax13 did still help you by giving you tips on how and where to find the answer to your question and warning you of the kind of response that you should expect for posting without searching. Searching is the best way to get along with people here. The search function was made to help people find their answers and avoid repeated questions. And it was made Bold at the top of screen with the rest of the menu to make it more noticeable to avoid repeated posts. You can find the answer to nearly all your questions by searching, and if you can't understand something, 'PM' or private message someone that posted on that topic, or you can post what you don't understand. There's plenty of functions to help you out here. And there's also a chat room too. Good luck, and I hope you can find all your :n00b: questions.

PS. You have a gen 2 Solara. You're in the gen 1-1.5 forum.

you know, im all for the search thing, but i personally dont think its a big deal if they post it again. I mean ive asked questions that have definatly been answered before, if all we did was search ALL the time, how are we going to get to know each other, we are a GROUP. If you dont want to answer the question........dont read it. This is PURELY personal and i respect EVERYONES opinion.
If it doesn't kill you.....it only makes you faster!

yeah, everyone just take it easy. just give new members their answer and plug in the "next time please do a search" comment to further direct them to any more answers they might need.

Yea i get ticked too but hey if we put ourselves in their shoes, they're just asking a simple question not expecting to get flamed... I try to put everything in a tasteful manner and refer them over to the Search up top... Most of us have been here TOO long and see posts over and over... but not the newbz...

maaaaann.. i remember when i just joined and got flamed by Flip...
you know how bad that goes... but hey there were plenty of other members here that were koo bout my questions so im sure the guy up top will get his answers

sorry had to vent a lil

I don't even think I flamed the guy, I was just telling him how to keep from getting flamed. And by the way, that whole supercharger comment was incredibly retarded.

Hair dryer is the way to go. It loosens up the adhesive (I had some god awful logo the dealer put on, where the T in Lustine was a guy all happy stretching his arms out with glee). That came off on day 1 with a hair dryer. There will be some excess glue to get off, you can use bug & tar remover for that.
