Hey guys,
I did a search and didn't find much on the topic so I'm posting a new one. Have any of you used touch up pens like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 2481782348

Are there better alternatives? I have a bunch of chips on my hood and a couple elsewhere... i see some rust startign to form on some of them. What's the best way to get rid of the rust?

Appreciate the help, thanks guys!

personally, i like the stuff that the dealerships sell thats like a nail polish. It doesn't dry as fast..and its much better than the pens.

(ps: It smells good too.... :drinking: just kidding)

Why do you say the nail-polish type stuff is better than the pens?

I read that thread before I posted and was not satisfied with the info within and was hoping to get some more opinions from people who have used both.

Thanks a lot for the responses! A few more would be nice!

I am not saying that one product is better than then other and its the tumb of rule. I've tried the marker before, it works as stated. But the thing dries up quickly (dries up as in unable to use again - not to be confused with dries up on the quickly). The nail polish thing is great for years (and only hardens as years progresses but is still usable - kinda like whiteout). I used to use the nailpolish brush over chips and then use my barehands to smooth it out. Chips are always there...you are just covering them up visually..and not physically. Some people say tomato...some people say TOMAATO. to each his own'
