The general rule for gasoline engines' average milages is 20% lower than the dealer listed, depending on how you drive. For the case of Solaras, it's about 20-23mpg on the freeway.

I don't drive a solara, therefore I can't guarantee about the radio spec and keyless entry as standard. As you can see from other topics, members bought their cars for all but conservative reasons. Almost all 'fix' their cars up in some way. They deprive stock radios and talk about remote start instead.

I'm surprised that no one has lend you a hand however...

The alarm with keyless entry was standard.
And if u search the forums, u'll find the radio specs. I'm too lazy right now.

I bought my 99 SE with a crappy aftermarket alarm (which I ripped out). Do you know the location of the factory alarm? If I still have it I wouldn't mind buying a remote for it. I didn't know if I have it or not. Think I'm gonna stop by the Toyota dealer to see if I do, if they'll do it for free. I'm not gonna pay to ask a question.

I heard there are different models of radios basically the audio controls. I guess the best stock one is the one I have that has Mid, Bass, Treb, Fade, Balance. Other than these, they're all the same. And I don't really know my mpg's, I just fill it up around once a week.

Alarms were NOT standard equipment. As far as I know, these were only dealer installed options.

Alarms were standard on SLEs, but options on the other models, I believe.
